PC - Office configuration launches when inserting a slide, or resetting the Session followed by an Error 1500

This issue occurs when Graph.exe is not enabled, or not configured properly inside of Office.

Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

Updating Office to run all from the local machine:

  1. Go into your Control Panel.
  2. Go into Programs and Features.
  3. Click on the version of Office in the list of installed programs.
  4. Click the Change button.
  5. Make sure you have Add or Remove Features selected.
  6. Click Continue
  7. Click the Drive icon to the left of Microsoft Office.
  8. Choose Run all from my computer.
  9. Click Continue.

When that is finished follow these steps to repair Office.

  1. Go into your Control Panel.
  2. Go into Programs and Features.
  3. Click on the version of Office in the list of installed programs.
  4. Click the Change button.
  5. Click on the Repair option and click Continue.
  6. This will repair Office.
  7. Restart the computer when it is finished.
