The DualBoard will not calibrate while in Whiteboard Mode.
This is the intended function.
A brief explanation of Whiteboard Mode:
Whiteboard mode is an alternative to Lesson mode (he default mode when WorkSpace is launched). Lesson Mode is typically used with a video projector and requires calibration so the pen tip and the computer cursor sync positions.
Whiteboard Mode does not use a video projector, so no calibration is necessary. Whiteboard Mode is to be used with a DualBoard, Touch Board or Touch Board Plus, using special pens designed to track annotations (Touch Board and Touch Board Plus users can use the special pens or their fingers). This allows you to digitally save dry erase annotations without requiring the use of a projector.
